Publisher Description
Benjamin Darrow is about to do something horrific even though it may cost him everything. Caught in a secret war that has raged for thousands of years between the creatures of the night and those that hunt them, Ben has little choice than to take drastic action raising an army of his own to destroy the two regimes and end the war. With three new companions helping him along the way, his dark plan is set into motion, but even they begin to realize they know very little about who their new leader is or his true intentions. While risking their lives to bring down the two regimes, Ben is split between the present and memories of the past, including an interminable friendship and the love of his life, that shaped him into the person he is today: one whose plan will change the world in more ways than his companions thought possible.
Of Humanity Lost is a dark thriller filled with twists and turns as each chapter brings together the past and present that will keep the reader guessing what will happen next.
Customer Reviews
Glad I found “Of Humanity Lost"
It’s a crazy, face paced book full of twists and turns. I don’t often read books a second time but it’s already packed in my luggage for vacation reading. If I can wait that long.
Bens story
Bens story is full of twists and turns and dripping with suspense! The way the author pulls the read from past to present keeps you on the edge of your seat and keeps you wanting more and more! This is a great read and don't read it alone in the dark!! Such a unique story!
A Dark and Brooding Tale.
A dark and brooding tale of an oppressed minority rising up to fight back after centuries of oppression. This story is certainly not for the faint of heart. It is fitting that the author’s last name is Ramsey, some of the scenes certainly feel like they would be right at home in the dungeons of that other Ramsay, Ramsay Bolton. The plot moves along quickly with some suprising twists and turns along the way. Although the story is fantasy, the way in which the characters interact, celebrate, and morn is distinctly real. I would advise reading this book on a bright sunny day!
