After Forever

Through the first book all you want is for Cade and Ever to get together. They have a taste and finally it's ripped away. Your heart breaks for them until you're red and raw. I didn't think I was capable of feeling more until the rug was pulled out from under me again. I felt personally betrayed by Cade, like I had been in Ever's place. So much that I wanted to give this book a horrible review lol. But we all know that's the mark of an exceptional writer and story teller. This 2nd book really grasped my heart and squeezed it for all it was worth. I wanted them to be punished so severely for what they had done and now it's on the book 3 because I can't imagine how this will end without someone being ruined and I can't bring myself to wish that on any of the characters no matter how horrible they've been.

So I rated the first book in this series with 5 stars. Cade and Ever were so sweet and their love story was beautiful. Then this book comes along and ruins everything. I stuck it out through this whole book, hoping against hope that the author would redeem it somehow for me, but it was just a train wreck from start to finish. I hate this book for many reasons, but the biggest reason of all is that it cheapens everything that happened in the first book. If you read the first book, my advice is to not read this one or the third one and just imagine a happy ending. I feel confident whatever you could imagine would be better than what actually happens in these books.

This book to me was very emotional and I literally was about o throw my phone when Cade and Eden had sex. So to get through the entire book I had to literally skip through all the sex scenes( it was making me sick). But I am glad that Ever came back. I hope Cade tells her so they can put it behind them as much as they can and deal with Eden and Cade’s baby.
