In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started making music in 2006 under a very similar but slightly different name to Phantom Sage. I was 8 years old messing around with Ableton making very simple Indie Electronic music that I released online, and am still going to this day. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beck, Morning Phase Porter Robinson, Nurture Yoe Mase, An Unfiltered Stream of Consciousness These three records and artists have been with me along my musical journey, and have had a huge influence on the way I've crafted my sound over the years as Phantom Sage. Tell us why you chose this song. “When I’m Gone” A lot of my music as Phantom Sage has been meaningless garbage, but every once in a while I had a song that actually meant something to me. This song is about my struggle with depression and finding solace in the thought of the end of my life. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Phantom Sage as a legitimate, touring project has been defunct for a while now. All I wish for is that the music that actually mattered the most will live on.
