Hey everybody! We had a great, in-depth conversation with Brian Howe, the Managing Arts and Culture Editor at Indy Week, as well as an accomplished poet. Brian discusses his thoughts on the current landscape of the arts in the Triangle; how he approaches writing about art; the decision process behind selecting which events get published. We also talk about his own art of combining poetry, sound, and performance. If you want to hear a great, behind-the-scenes take on art journalism, this episode has plenty to offer! Enjoy!

Artists on art

I’ve learned so much about the artists and arts professionals in my own community I thought I knew. And I typically laugh quite a bit while listening too. More please.

DYLTM is terrific

These guys do a great longform interview. They get the substantial information out of an artist -- how they started, what their fundamental concerns are -- but they also get the personality too, which really informs a deep look at an artist's work. Love this podcast!
