Photo Fridays talks began as an opportunity for us to share our work, as well as our passion
for photography, with the community. We’ve decided to test the E-book waters and see if this medium is a good way to share the photographs and information that were compiled for each of the Photo Friday presentations.
Intimate Landscapes are the shots that focus in on a part of the scene, removing distracting elements. In this E-book we discuss how to visualize an intimate landscape, discuss why they would be beneficial to photograph, and give many examples of our own work!

John Orcutt and Cam Held's E-book "Intimate Landscapes" presents the technical tips and pure joy of expression that were the hallmark of the Photo Friday series. The comparison section of Intimate Landscapes I find especially interesting as it succinctly illustrates how two photographers can see the same subject in totally different ways. This E-book should help any photographer better understand the infinate options available when photographing the landscape up close and intimately.
