Winter
Rise of the Pride, Book 2
Winter Blue, Guardian of the Shaw Pride, has sworn to protect the beautiful and stubborn Nova Raines. His panther knows that she is his mate, but Winter’s refusal to touch her causes him to almost destroy their fragile relationship when she is attacked by a human male and left for dead behind the bar that she owns.
The wolves are still on the loose, and when a rogue panther comes forward with information, the pride soon realizes that the male who assaulted Nova is a wolf and will stop at nothing until he kills her. The panthers assemble with a plan, ensuring that the pack of wolves are destroyed so that the pride can live in peace.
When Nova’s ability to protect herself is questioned, Winter has to make the decision to change her into what he is to save her life or leave her vulnerable to his enemies. His reasoning for keeping her human could also be the one thing that takes her life for good when the last remaining wolf returns to finish off the job.

Yes!! Nailed it!!
Yes!!! I’m so loving this series. Book two started off a bit rocky for me by the way the author continued scene jumping from book one but she corrected it and I wasn’t so frustrated after finishing this book. When you don’t have to backtrack all the time to see where the author lost you, it helps so much! (See my review for book 1)
Totally fell in love with Nova & Winter in book one but having their own story ~ even better!!
I love how the author adds that sense of danger in the background throughout her stories because it keeps you so tuned in you don’t realize that you’ve read a book in a day until you come to the end. 😳
I will be buying book 3, hopefully this momentum keeps going and the author doesn’t backslide into old habits... stay tuned!
Winter (Rise of the Pride; Book 2)
Excellent reading. The main character Nova and Winter pretty down to earth. They both were human due to circumstances had to be turned for different reason. Through it all they fell in love first than the “change “. The story was interesting due to how the Book 1 was the background for book 2. You took this series and made it a series of romance, family oriented, and overcomer of life itself. Like Liberty said her bar was a place all are welcome... Looking forward of reading Book 3.
