The songs veer into soulful R&B (“Blue Sky”) and pensive balladry (“Time In Between”), but Battistelli’s wheelhouse is up-tempo, piano-based anthems like “I’m Letting Go”—a song of surrender—and the title song, which finds comfort in vulnerability. Earworms abound, and if Battistelli is a capable pianist, she’s a dynamite vocalist.
