Promising New Author!
Great debut from this first-time author! Few authors are seldom able to knock my
socks off like this one did. The writing and story are very structured and make it flow naturally into a climax that must be read to be appreciated! The characters have depth. Henry Fields, the protagonist, is like peeling an onion and just when you think you may have it all figured out the story throws you in another direction you didn't even see it going. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to fellow readers looking for new authors to get excited about! A book I would have gladly paid for. I am looking forward to the additional books in the series!
Great pilot
This book is a fantastic beginning to a story you'll want to know more about. It revolves around a guy who comes to a small Iowa town to get away from his past. He gets a job and finds a house and even meets a girl. But eventually he finds out there are bad things brewing in the small town. Before he knows it, he's mixed up in it. The book ends with a cliffhanger, but it's worth it. It's FREE! The second book is supposed to be released soon - I can't wait!
