If you are just waking up from a 20-year coma, this book may help you.
If you haven’t seen any of the totally free, and far more used alternatives to WordPerfect, this may be a good book to get. This assumes you don’t have immediate access to more widely used options, such as Open Office, Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or even a typewriter. If you must use WordPerfect, Karl Rowe does a good job showing an astonishing working knowledge of the long forgotten product. He’s almost an “Indiana Jones”, even. Collecting information about using an ancient artifact for modern work, like a hero of a bygone era! We need more books like this, so we can show our children how bad it really was back in the days of WordPerfect. Perhaps he can write next about the great uses of lead paint, or how the transistor radio is still the undisputed king of modern tech. Keep it up, Karl!
