Nerdy Bffs
Maggie and Melissa are hilarious, down to earth and intelligent women discussing and highlighting science fiction with people of color. It feels like listening to two best friends nerding out together. They discuss theories I never would have thought of and make me think & laugh. Also love that they highlight shows I may not have heard of. 5 stars!
Great Idea for a Podcast!
Love the idea of highlighting diversity in science fiction.
So far they've done Into the Badlands and a few movies like Pacific Rim and Star Wars, and I'm enjoying it so far. The first few episodes were a little rocky, but now the hosts have definitely found their footing. They're down-to-earth and funny, and they make you feel like you're sitting in the room and talking with them. (Especially nice when you're like me and don't have a lot of friends into scifi)
