SEASON 07 WILL BEGIN FRIDAY JULY 28TH
Unexplained is a haunting and unsettling bi-weekly podcast about strange and mysterious real life events that continue to evade explanation. A story-based show mixing spoken-word narrative, history and ideas - often to terrifying effect - that explores the space between what we think of as real and what is not; where sometimes belief can be as concrete as ‘reality,’ whatever that is…

Customer Reviews
Top tier
I am a huge fan of this pod and have listened for years. Top quality and well researched content. RMS unique delivery works for me.
Lots of reviews mention adverts. I completely understand that ads are necessary. I really enjoyed the advert music in the earlier episodes which I think RMS wrote. However, shrill and screeching presenters advertising their podcast, just as I am falling asleep to a spooky tale is really jarring.
You’re still getting five stars though. Lovely stuff.
Spooky atmosphere spoiled by ads
I love this podcast, and I’ve been listening since the beginning. I’ve got the book and really enjoy it. I’m begging Richard to leave the IHeartRadio network. Its adverts are nightmarish. The format of this show, with its short episodes, dreamy and dense writing and evocative atmosphere makes it the absolute worst match for this obnoxious network’s awful approach. I’m sure he’s got a contract, but I desperately hope he’ll leave when possible. Please let us join a patreon or something!
Not for dozing off to anymore: listen but keep your hand near the skip button!
Spoiled it!
This was a great podcast but it’s been really spoiled by intrusive adverts. Such a shame. Couldn’t they just be at the beginning or end, rather than interrupting the flow of the programme? The stories have always been great and well presented, but this has really put me off listening.
