In addition to standard lubrication and tune-ups, an official Amazing Type-Writer repairperson will provide your Type-Writer with several new mechanisms:
- Full compatibility with the newest Operational Systems;
- Dynamically reconfigurable typehead and cardsurface, to support larger mechanisms currently in fashion: as large as 4.7" (size 6) and 5.5" (size 6+), as well as the "classic" sizes 4 and 5;
- Improvements to pneumatic tube operations: guaranteed fewer clogged tubes and mangled cards;
- General fixes for jams and non-operation situations;
- Completely complimentary spit-polish.

Great but limited
Fabulous app but would love to be able to write longer pieces than postcard-sized! A4 please developers?!!
Years later - Still the best
I’ve had this app for years. I don’t use it that often, but it’s amazing when I want that old card feel.
It looks like a proper typewriter. Each letter being vaguely irregular and the same irregularity doesn’t repeat.
It also has no erase, so you don’t get perfection unless you are careful - like a real typewriter.
Wish it was updated for bigger screens and sometimes wish it had bigger cards.
Ive got many other “typewriter” apps, but for quality of result, this is still the best. By far.
Rubbish
What’s the point in postcard sizes? People want larger sheets to type on. I know this is retro but it would be nice to have a delete button instead of having to start afresh after typing out. The screen is way too small. I find this highly annoying to use.
