Publisher Description
London based photographer Oleg Tolstoy spent nearly a year out on the streets of London, photographing its citizens and documenting their diverse opinions in advance of the 2012 Olympic Games.
The polaroids, along with their subjects' hand written comments have been collected together into an immense iArtBook of over 140 high resolution images, alongside text by noted art critic Edward Lucie-Smith.
The result is an eclectic, truthful and entertaining insight into the hopes and fears of the real people of England's capital city.

Londoner
I was hesitant about this one but it just made me smile! This is like a photo coffee table book for your iPad - just images, witty, insightful. I love the diversity of opinions along with the photo portraits of the people of the city that pulled off the Olympics. (and I was one of those who doubted it would work!) This is a fun book for people who like the Olympics, urban London portraits, or just English social commentary. It's not deep or a complicated "read" - it's fun simple design, simple concept for a complicated issue, done in a way that is engrossing. It's slightly addictive to just read one more!
very insightful
I bought this as i wanted an alternative view of the Olympics - i wasn't really sure what to expect but it was actually really interesting and perfect for dipping in and out of - even though the comments on each page are quite concise there are so many that there is actually quite a lot of content over all so I thought it was quite good value.
