About the author
KRISTINA O’GRADY has always loved telling a good story and took up writing at a young age. She grew up on a cattle ranch in Western Canada and loves reminiscing by writing about cowboys and their horses. In 2000 Kristina met her own knight in shining armour/cowboy who swept her off her feet and across the world to New Zealand, where she now lives on a sheep and beef farm with her amazingly supportive husband, three gorgeous young kids, seven working dogs and one very needy cat. ALL FOR YOU is her fifth book.

I found this a very sweet and easy to read book but maybe a little short for my liking
This was my first introduction to Kristina O’Grady and The Copeland Ranch stories. As far as this being the final part of the trilogy there were no issues and the book held it’s own as a standalone. I had no issues following the story and although characters who were obviously from earlier books in the series made appearances and references to those books were made it had no strong bearing on this book.
Our main characters in this novel are Lily, a hometown girl who had left about 8 years earlier with big dreams of fame after her family lost their ranch in very public circumstances. Then there is Wade, her high school sweetheart who now runs his family’s run-down ranch single handedly. When Lily returns to town, pregnant, it isn’t the ideal situation for rekindling their romance.
I found this a very sweet and easy to read book. Kristina O’Grady has created a very close-knit ranching community in Canada where everyone knows everyone. Her writing is easy and quite lilting, it is easy to follow and the book flows smoothly. The romance flows easily and naturally, but everything is quite predictable and the book does lack a little depth.
I read this very quickly, in just a few hours, and it felt more like a novella than a novel. I would have liked a bit more detail and some of the information filled out a bit so that the book lasted a bit longer and the story of these two very sweet people gave me more to think about. Whilst this is a very enjoyable read there isn’t much to think about or take from it which is a little disappointing. I would definitely read Kristina O’Grady again but would hope for a slightly thicker read!
