Born and raised in Bermondsey, South London, Johnathan Yesson (aka DJ JY) had an interest in music from a young age. Graduating from Bacon's College, Rotherhide, Yesson used his web and I.T. skills to forge a massive fan base on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. His first single, the moody and dark hip-hop number "The Way Forward," arrived in early 2015, followed a few months later by the EP The Beginning. ~ Rich Wilson
