A few months before my bar mitzah, my father gave me a choice: we could throw a party and invite all of my friends, or I could have an electric guitar. Easy choice. Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Benedictine Monks of the Abbey of St. Maurice & St. Maur, Clervaux, Gregorian Chant: Salve Regina Glenn Gould, Bach: Goldberg Variations, BWV 988 (The 1955 & 1981 Recordings) John Coltrane, The Very Best of John Coltrane Montreal has a great Bach festival, and I go with my stepmom every year. It's a tradition. We got to see Yo Yo Ma do the cellos suites at Places des arts. Greatest concert of my life. That, and Fugazi at Spectrum on the Red Medicine tour. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording my first single, High Twilight, at the Treatment Room in Montreal in 2010. My guitarist cracked a disgusting joke seconds before we got "the take". I will never forget it, and I can't repeat it here. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to play at Pompeii, or Angkor Wat, or at Casa del Popolo on a weekend. But these are impossible dreams.
