A rear gem!
This story is beautiful and heartfelt from start to finish. One of these books that you read a few times over the years and you feel good every time. The writing allows you to really get to know the characters and you can imagine yourself in either of their shoes. Highly recommend it, love it.
Nineteen reasons to Read Nineteen Letters
So let me start this review firstly by saying I had attempted to read this book many times but kept getting choked up in the first few chapters with the obvious love that Jemma and Braxton have for each other and the heartache I knew was coming so I wrongly decided to put it down and read something more Rom Com touchy feely like.
BIG MISTAKE!!!
This book is Awesome.
It was once told to me it reads a little like a younger version of The Notebook, only set in Australia but I disagree, 19 Letters is it's own unique story and I for one loved it.
Yes it's sad, yes it made me go into the ugly cry.....A LOT but the joy, love, devastation, shock, kindness, happiness, heartache, beautifully written letters, scenery you feel like you can reach out and actually touch, most adorable animals ever, determination, grit, animosity, fear, loyalty, faith, hope, resilience and some kick as jewellery (that's 19 right?!?!) all make we want to read it again, soon.
I legit am going to make my own charm bracelet, once you read this you will know why.
Do yourself a favour and read this remarkable book, like yesterday!!
