Publisher Description
Murdered is the true story of the coldblooded killing of Sherri Rae Rasmussen, a 29 year old newlywed. Paul Christy's thrilling performance leaves the listener at the edge of his seat. Christy's voice reflects the journalistic and no-nonsense quality of Alexander's words. The narrative is detailed and thorough, without giving too much away too soon. The descriptions of the crime and the 20-year cover-up that followed are told in the manner of a police procedure report and are sure to hold the listener's full attention. For those who enjoy true crime narratives, this is a story worth listening to and one not easy to forget.

Murdered
Ever since I read Truman Capote's "In Cold Blood" (of course), I expected very little from any other teller of nonfiction -- nothing could mesmerize and terrorize me like the simplicity of that author. I just recently discovered Paul Alexander when I heard 1st of his 4 (only 4 -- that's the problem!) audiobooks. Wow. Gripping from the very start--chilling in fact. I'm captured by his unique style but forever spoiled, too, from enjoying anything mediocre in this genre. This author is talented! Characterization is deep and thoughtful without trying because he suceeds at humor, too. The depictions of places and events are vivid and clear. As early as the opening, I was totally caught off guard. I had no idea what was coming; any author that can do that--great.
