About Homeless Balloon

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first instrument was a wooden Zither that my grandmother gave me when I was 4 years old. At 6 I started taking violin lessons and later played first violin in the School Orchestra. I fell in love with the electric guitar and then MIDI and synths. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Marvin Gaye, What's Going On Remastered Shakti, A Handful of Beauty (With John McLaughlin) Van Morrison, Moondance When I first heard "Into the Mystic" from Van Morrison's brilliant album "Moondance", I felt it was the greatest piece of music I had ever heard! Same with "What's Going On" by Marvin Gaye and my musical hero John McLaughlin's beautiful Shakti album! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Daughters of Allah Arab Techno” Electronic world fusion beat I composed to a TV documentary about Muslim women from Lebanon and their growing struggle against oppression at home and in society. The sad melody is carried by a contrasting electronic techno-inspired groove. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have made music for more than eighty (80) TV documentaries, radio plays and fantasy stories, and when I composed the track "The Stranger" for a children's Radio Play, a young girl heard it on the radio and wrote me a personal letter and thanked me! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I love to create small sketches when I have a musical idea. What I don't love is to finish these ideas... I have collected several hundred small musical pieces, and my dream is to really finish and release the best of them.
